Cameron is a chartered building surveyor with a broad experience in the property, insurance and construction industries, particularly on domestic property defects, repair and disputes.

Cameron has 10+ years’ experience working with insurance reinstatements, quantification and cost assessments. He acts as principal designer and contract administrator, overseeing construction works from inception to completion.

Cameron produces building surveys on a pre-acquisition basis, defect reports and schedule of dilapidations for commercial and residential properties.

Experience

1. Acting as an independent party and chartered surveyor, advising on insurance related perils, total sums insured, and quantification of the proposed reinstatement works.
2. Leading the Yorkshire team to provide a range of services including insurance reinstatements, reinstatement cost assessments, party wall matters and building surveys on a wide range of properties.
3. Taking on the role of contract administrator, project managing major and complex loss remediation schemes to a range of properties throughout the Yorkshire region.
4. Providing professional consultancy advise to loss adjusters dealing with loss assessor and high net worth individuals. Advising loss adjusters and building owners of defects, causations and costs.
5. Working closely with planning to successfully complete sympathetic reinstatement programmes on historic and listed properties.
