How do you help clients?
I help clients understand the financial implications of their project decisions and maintain control of costs from the earliest design stages through to completion.
I enjoy turning technical design information into clear, practical cost advice that clients can use to make informed decisions. This includes identifying cost pressures, managing change and highlighting commercial risks before they affect the project budget or programme.

- Preparing feasibility estimates and detailed cost plans for the demolition and redevelopment of a residential property, including allowances for utility disconnections, asbestos risk, site clearance and new-build construction.
- Preparing comparative cost assessments for reinforced concrete and gabion retaining wall solutions, helping the project team understand the principal cost drivers and construction implications of each option.
- Preparing tender documentation and undertaking detailed tender analysis to identify qualifications, exclusions and commercial risks, enabling the client to make an informed contractor appointment.
- Monitoring project expenditure during construction through the assessment of interim valuations, variations and forecast final costs, providing the client with clear and current financial reporting.
